Cassey's Benoni Ford - ****** vehicel

On the 8th November 2018 I took my Ford Ranger 2018 2.2 6 Speed XLT for the second service to Cassey Benoni in Tom Jones Street. I was a bid early so asked my brother to sign in the vehicle. The service advisor (keeping track of my vehicle) Miss Nel said she will keep me up to date on the service for the day. By 14H45 she called and said my vehicle is in the Wash bay I can retrieve the vehicle around 16H30. I was still at work so my husband went to get the vehicle and that is where they realized the vehicle is missing. Upon looking at the security camera that was working at the gate they realized after my Husband told them that the times is not correct that the vehicle left the premises at about 14H00 already. We asked them how many cameras they have and how many is working upon which the Dealer Principal (Hein) said that it can not prevent theft. I also asked how can the vehicle leave without a gate past - no answer from them. We asked what the protocol on keys was as my vehicle was ****** with the key inside. There was only two cameras working one in the wash bay and one at the front gate. I took photos of all the signs and cameras that is not working. The sign at the front gate clearly says you can not leave this premises without a gate pass and no tailgating. The dealer principal offered a curtesy car which I was to angry to accept and when we went back the next morning to get the car he said he does not want to give the car anymore. He had his security guy there and in the meeting they said we can not do anything about organized crime in this country. My answer was it does not matter who took the vehicle the point being it was ****** from there premises. I found a lawyer to help me with the case as I can not believe that Ford can treat there customers this why. We gave all the footage, photos and paperwork to the lawyer and on the back of the form that we signed the vehicle in clearly states that if they where negligent it is there responsibility. Yes I know I was wrong in stopping to pay my insurance but I was looking for a new insurance to take over my cover for the vehicle. Yes this is negligence on my part but what if I have bought the vehicle cash without insurance and this happened would Ford still just lift there shoulders and say this is my fault. Well they *recovered* the vehicle after 8 month and 4 days, we where there to have a look at the vehicle but again the Dealer Principal blocked us in all ways possible and up to today still have not have the decency to great you or look you in the eye. He said he does not know where the keys are because I wanted to have a look on the condition inside as well. They have received there high court date from my lawyer about two weeks prior to the recovery of the vehicle and all of a sudden the vehicle has been recovered. But they can not tell me where and who took the vehicle, where it is standing you can clearly see the vehicle was well looked after and washed and polished. No finger prints was taken and when I phone Sgt Fourie where they reported the ****** vehicle he was not aware that the found the vehicle I had to Uber back and forth to work. I had to take on legal expenses by extra vehicle cash. Why?? I will tell you why - my vehicle was ****** and well looked after by that person. I am the only person working in my household and need a reliable vehicle to get to work, I have to look after 8 people but Ford wants me to pay all the way. My arrangement with the ban has got nothing to do with Ford but they want me again to pay recovery fees of R21,000.00 and sign a form which I take as giving them indemnity. I have to pay storage fees for the vehicle. This vehicle is legally still ABSA vehicle finance property I get that but I am willing in all sense to come my obligations with ABSA up to date. Still I am not allowed near the vehicle have all the extra cost. The dealer principal of Cassy's Ford Benoni Tom Jones street is still not admitting that they had fault in the theft, he does not acknowledge you as a client and treats you as the one that caused all the inconvenience. A lot of the whole theft episode I left out as I will start running out of space but my legal fees is close to R30,000.00 which I still owe my lawyer money. My vehicle was recovered but I have no say accept to pay everybody's mistakes They have send there Insurance to come and see me but next they that was retraced again why? there is to many unexplained details in this whole case and the Dealer Principal (Hein) cant face us and look you in the eye. To be honest he does not have any people s****s, he is arrogant in all senses. I am going to take my story to Carte Blanch to Derek Watts because I don't want anybody else to go thru what I have gone thru in the last 9 months of my life.
