Where was the manager on duty

Recently went to the Hillfox branch & was able to speak to the store manager who was extremely helpful. Yesterday went back to the branch to buy 3 x 1.2m lintels. Not sure what was going on but no one was available to help & there were about 3 staff outside busy with safety wrapping a customer's purchase. There was another staff member standing at the door watching & it didn't appear that he was part of what was going on so I asked if he could help & he grudgingly said yes. He told me that I must pay first & the staff helping the customer outside would then get the lintels & could not give any indication of how long I would have to wait & clearly not interested if anyone else was available. He then grudgingly went with to the lintel section & there were several very damaged lintels in the 1.2m section & pointed them out to which he said that I wouldn't get them, yet they were on the shelf. He could not answer my questions regarding anything & clearly had no intentions of getting someone else. From what I saw & very different to the previous time it was clear that there was no one overseeing or in charge & I was unable to find the manager on duty so I left because it was pointless wasting more time.
