The incorrect price is not my problem

I visited the Cash build Daku branch to purchase paving. The price noted on the paving was R2.07c however upon receiving the quote, the price per paving was R2.20c I immediately beought this to Luzuko's attention and he immediately modified the quote as per his manager / supervisor.

For my project i require a total of 4100 paving but for yesterday's order I bought 2100. I asked Luzuko to provide me with a second quote also at the advertised price so that I may keep it and return within 14 days of its expiry to purchase the balance but he refused saying that the pricing had changed and he will only modify the quote for yesterday's purchase.

My point is, regardless of whether I am purchasing an amount of 2100 paving today and get a quote to purchase the balance in fourteen days, I believe that as a customer I should be getting the quote for the paving at the advertised price, after all that is the price I saw advertised.

Its not like I am returning in a week's time demanding a price I saw the previous time I visited the store but I am requesting for a quote I will keep, priced as advertised and then i return to the store to make a purchase.

Luzuko didn't even attempt to speak to his manager in making the decision but quickly denied to assist. It is not my fault that the price of the paving was incorrectly advertised and as such as a customer i shouldn't be disadvantaged simply because of your employee's negligence.

The price I saw is the price I meed to pay, whether I pay immediately of request a quotation from you.

I trust that this will receive your full attention and the matter resolved. In my understanding this is very bad service and is of no standard i have previously been accustomed to as your client.

I'm not saying the service provided by Luzuko was bad, because he was quite helpful but I believe that it could have been handled better. It is after all not my fault that the price was wrong.
