Service delivery and FALSE and MISLEADING ADVERTISING!!!

I bought a pallet of bricks from Cashbuild, Ontdekkers on 24 April 2024.

First of all, they CHARFED me a DELIVERY FEE OF R250, which is NOT WHAT IS ADVERTISED OUTSIDE ON THE BILLBOARD DIRECTLY INFRONT of the Cashbuild entrance. I also asked about the delivery and they told me that I HAVE TO PAY THE DELIVERY FEE, even though I told them that I ONLY STAY NOT EVEN 4 km's from the Cashbuild.

SO, THAT IS FALSE AND MISLEADING ADVERTISING and TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!

Secondly, I was told that they would phone me BEFORE they are to deliver the the bricks, which ALSO and obviously was NOT THE CASE, they just arrived at the gate and phoned to tell me they were outside for the delivery.

Thirdly, they have JUST delivered the bricks that I have ordered, this morning after they asked me where it should be unloaded. When they UNLOADED the bricks I TOLD them NOT TO BREAK THE BRICKS.

What did they do??? They came with a small delivery bakkie / truck, with the pallet of bricks on the back. I showed them where the bricks have to go and LOW AND BEHOLD, they did not STACK the bricks NEATLY, IN ORDER NOT TO BREAK THEM, buit THREW them off the back onto a pile on the ground and I could see SOME CHIPPED AND BROKEN BRICKS, that they threw off the back onto the ground and some BROKEN BRICKS they just left on the back of the bakkie / truck when they left.

If this is how they treat a customer and what they do, I will definitely never buy anything from them again or recommend them to ANYONE I KNOW.

This service and delivery is NOT worth what I had to pay for and unacceptable.
