House left unsafe to live in because of Cashbuild

I went to Cashbuild to purchase a geyser and had one of their employees recommend a plumber who is contracted to Cashbuild. The plumber was a **** plumber an as a result the geyser burst which damages the ceiling cause it to collapse as well as other damages to the house.

When I approached Cash build on the matter they were negating responsibility and have refused to pay for the damages caused to my house. At first they said they were not liable,then they sent an assessor who estimated R300k worth of damages. They offered R70k which does not cover the damages caused.

It has been over 5 months that my house has been left in such a state and is now a safety and health hazard.

It has been an emotional 5 months of having to live in a house in such a state.

Cashbuild to say the least were undermining in their approach.
