Follow up
On the 2nd October 2024, i shared my review or my expirience and the challenge that am facing here in this platform, and cashbuild head office and Mdantsane cashbuild Manager Vuyo called me and they promised to sort my problem. Today is the first of December nothing happened, on the 28th October Vuyo the manager of Mdantsane cashbuild forwarded me the vn from their builder Lucky saying he went to my place tried to close or do roofing but he is short of tiles and doors, i said to Vuyo"if you check thoroughly my account from your system yo'll that we paid everything, remember we gave you guys the floor plan and cashbuild was the one who told us what to buy to finish the work and we did exactly that so Lucky stole our material and used it somewhere so lucky and cashbuild must make a plan to fix our house" then she said okay sisi i will deal with lucky. On the 28th Octber 2024 call Shuz a guy that is staying at our place in the eastern cape asking him about the progress he loughed saying nothing happened since i left there instead rain damaged some things there(vn). so now i want to know from cashbuild head office that are they gonna assist me or not so that if they can't help me as the builder is from them then i will escalate the matter to NCA or OMBUDSMAN.
I had received a call at 9:55 today from Cashbuild's regional manager in the Eastern Cape named Jack van Rooyen. He scolded me while mentioning that i will not be reimbursed for any ****** materials as he claims that they do not have builders, soon after that call I received a voicenote from Vuyokazi saying this matter is no longer their business as Ta-Terror has been charged for having referred Lucky to me. Ta-Terror also claims that he had told me to get rid of Lucky and find someone else to complete the job. in February when myself, Lucky, Vuyokazi,Ta-Terror and Mthunzi had a meeting at Cashbuild in Mdantsane, it was suggested that I maybe find a different builder however I had mentioned it to them that that would cost me as i had spent a whole lot of money buying materials and i had already paid Lucky the deposit, I had maintained that Lucky needed to complete what he finished. Jack Van Rooyen stated that should take matters any further he couldn't care any less and that I wouldn't be refunded. Kindly note that I did not even ask for a refund all I was asking was for him to follow up on Lucky as they were the ones who had recommended him to me.

Cashbuild does not have preferred Building Contractors and or employs Building Contractors, the matter at hand is between the Customer and the Contractor unfortunately.
