Double Roman Tiles _ Afristar instead of coverland
In July 2023 l purchased BMl coverland double Roman tiles at cashbuild in ldutywa. The tiles were delivered on site first batch was coverland and the tiles were for 650 square Metre house the store changed the supplier without our knowledge,sold us afristar tiles that were not locking and were breaking when the contractor on site was installing in 2013 as a result most of them were returned but the issue is the tiles the provided are not locking with the ones they provided and the quality is substandard .Cashbuild cared less about the complaint until in 2024 and 2025 the tiles were breaking on Roof top . Cashbuild trying to run away to replace the tiles which the supplier or representative confirmed they ordered from the supplier they never used because of pressure to deliver and the very same supplier products were returned like paving blocks and they had to go respray the same tiles has ran away from taking responsibility. So half of my house if not whole is leaking through the substandard tiles Cashbuild delivered.

As per the letter sent to you this morning from the supplier and their findings, that the roof construction is not in accordance with SANS 10400 Part L, they recommend that you get an ITC Certified Roof Inspector to do a report on the roof trusses.

And l have a trial of emails referring back to 2023 when the tiles were delivered and you only responding now that they are on roof top. You and your supplier can run away but you know the truth about what transpired the supplier in question confirmed to have used a supplier they never used because of the mould . The very same supplier is the one Cashbuild recieved complaints from various clients regarding the tiles that were delivered at the time

You ordered paving bricks from the very same supplier and you had to go remove the bricks because of the quality . The supplier did confirm when they were here that there were issues around paint and other issues they have to resolve regarding the batch of tiles they ordered . They had to respray all the tiles given various complaints they recieved , You sent the contractor to come quote for removal of the tiles and all of a sudden the story changes . The fact is you know of the complaints from different clients . Now l have to suffer because you cannot **** fhe supplier accountable . how about l remove all these tiles and bring them back to your disposal
