CHARGED FOR DELIVERY IN A FREE DELIVERY ZONE

On the 22nd December 2015, my husband went to Cashbuild Emalahleni Downtown to buy the remaining material for building our outside bathroom. Oh his return I noticed that they had charged him a delivery fee of R50 (Zone 5) for a free delivery zone. When I called to enquire, I first spoke to a lady with a coloured accent (didn't get her name), who told me that the charge a delivery fee in a free delivery zone if there are concrete things like bricks, cement and so on...When I told her there were no concrete thing in my order, she then said it could be a handling fee of some sort, then she transferred me to a guy named Edward to explain further to me. This Edward guy said its a new thing they do. Said they now charge all deliveries a handling fee of R50-00 because the store has had many problems with deliveries. He wasn't exactly clear what the handling fee was for. I think they made a mistake and they don't want to own up to it.
