bad advertising

<p>I would like to buy 5000 maxi bricks, therefore I browsed product leaflet for Cosmo city store, which reflects that the maxi bricks are R2300.00 per 1000 direct and R2350.00 per thousand Yard. After working out how much I would be paying, I got these figures: (R2300 per 1000) * 5= R11500.00 Direct and (R2350.00 per 1000) * 5= R11750.00.</p> <p> </p> <p>However when I request a quote from Cosmo City Cashbuild, they are quoting me R12650.00 for 5000 maxi bricks. When I ask why such a huge difference, they say prices differ from store to store “as the leaflet states”. I understand the statement “prices differ from store to store” clearly, so I went and browsed another stores leaflet to validate this, and found a different price, for i.e. Cashbuild Mabopane’s product leaflet has maxi bricks for R2880 per 1000 Yard, which explains the statement “prices differ from store to store”.</p> <p> </p> <p>I would therefore like to pay what I see as advertised on the Cosmo City Cashbuild leaflet.</p> <p> </p> <p>Your assistance in this regard will be appreciated.
