Unfair pratice

I pawned my laptop approx a year ago. I have been paying the monthly interest of R200 per month. My pay day is the 27th of the month. I usually go in on the 27th or 28th to pay the interest. Most months the computer generates a date for the 25th. I have no problem, i go in on the 27th/28th and pay the interest. This month my due date was on the 25th of April 2021 even though i made the payment on the 27th of last month.

I was told that my computer i now out of the safe and on the floor and i have to repurchase same tomorrow at the cost of R1050. I cannot pay the R200 interest.

I was also previously told that i have 7 days after the due date to pay the interest.

Where am I now expected to come up with the R1050
