Unfair Practice: Reminder System of Cash Crusader is selective especially if you don't have an option to renew at a fee. !!!!

I have experienced an unfair practice by Cash Crusaders Pretoria North whereby I had a buy back loan agreement that had lapsed on the 1st of June 2026 and I went to the store today on the 7th Day (8th June 2026) to redeem the device to only find out that I had mixed the days of expiry, the actual was on the 1st June but had also re**** on the 3-day prior expiry reminder from Cash Crusader's systems which they consistently send to me when I had an option to renew at a fee.

Although I understand that I had mixed the dates and the contract elapsed I expressed the fact that not getting the prior reminder was suspicious since I had no option to renew as if their wanted me as the client to lose the device by suddently not sending a prior reminder that my loan is lapsing.

And I understand that by law even it lapsed but I go to the store with 7-14 days and the device is still not sold I can repay the full amount and whatever charge we agree on to redeem the item. However they insist that I need to buy the item at the priced store value which in my opinion the price is 100% (double) of the intial loan

Please assist.
