Trying To Understand

I had the unfortuneate experience of visiting your Bluff store during January.

Now first and foremost this is not to run your company down but merely to try and understand your business model.

January being January , and money is somewhat of a shortage i decided to see if i could Pawn my camera equipment to tied me over. I approched your Bluff Branch. I had all my proof of ownership documentation ( which was never looked at ) my proof of residance and ID with me. The total value of the equipment which is about a year old amounted to around R22 000. Now i understand that items do devalue and that some items wont sell if it came to that stage where I could not repay the loan.

To my absolute horror i was offered a loan of R1500 ! Needless to say the assistant did not take all the items into consideration , thats was after me going through each and every item that in the camera case. But really an offer of that amount seems to be a rather low percentage ?

I would really like to know how this transaction worked out at such a low value.

I really look forward to your reply.

Regards,

Alan Dean
