Totally unacceptable

I purchased an air freyer for my wife for Christmas at cash crusaders corkwood mall They did a test to see I comes on and does heat Got home as it's a Christmas gift my wife did not Immediately open it to used a week went by is said to her she must use it to see if it works fine as it's under warranty so she did test it turns out it blew hot air out of the side took it back to cash crusaders they in turn send it to their supplier to be checked received a phone call from cash crusaders manager today letting me know the warehouse says the basket is bend and that it's is not covered under warranty so I have to pay additional R500 for them to repair it I then asked how is it Tha I have to pay for a new peace of appliance that is I received in the condition of blowing air out when it was tested they did not test it for that so how can this no be covered in the warranty also asked if they can email me this quote because I do not intend to leave it here and said I am going to take it further the manager reply sir if that is what you must do then its so so in turn I asked is this the way they do business that it means nothing to them that a customer is not happy with the service and the purchase because of a defective piece of equipment they sold me
