The Doogee went ***** at Cash Crusader
Hello I would like to bring this under your attention. We bought a a Doogee S40 on Saturday 29/02/2020 at 13:37. We went home, took the phone from the box ,as i removed the sticker from the screen I noticed some finger prints, okay I thought the sales person **** he said it is a new phone,so I tried to switch the phone on only to discover that the battery was flat and won't switch on,so we put it on charge it took about 30 min just to show that okay it is charging. Sunday morning I started activating all the apps and accounts etc on the phone,Sunday night I took it to work with me only to find that the battery does not last long,it has poor to no signal(Network wise)but it is a 4G phone. Sound quality is scratchy during calls.Okay then I noticed the phone cannot multitask without lagging or freezing, you can feel the phone overheating(bare in mind you can feel it through the rubber of this ip68 phone)okay so I went into the phones settings about the phone, only to find that the android is **** or not licensed,it states it has Android 9,but its not,it some **** bulls@#t. If you google the specs it says the phone has android 6 installed. So it is an old phone which cost me R 2000. So I am not happy. Gift the sales person said on Saturday if i am not happy with the phone i can return it within 7 days and they will refund me. So on Monday I spoke to my fiance about the phone because she bought it for me as a present because they stole my phone on Thursday 27/02/2020 so we decided since i have shift change she will return the phone today 04/03/2020. She went to store explained to them what is wrong with the phone only the get an attitude from the sales person while in the same sentence refused to give her a refund and to suggest her to sell the phone back to the store for half the price. She notified me and i phoned them after a huge argument we still did not resolve the problem, the sales person also instructed me to come to the store and explain to him in person what is wrong with the phone,he then took the receipt and the phone to his manager which she never saw during that time. he returned only to inform her to contact head office, she requested to speak to the area manager but the sales person refused to give her his/her details. She left the store in a rage only to find that the manger or sale person stamp the receipt with a no refund stamp. When we bought the phone there was only one stamp and that was for the 12 month repair guarantee. it is not the first time we have issues with them. Never have i bought a pair of trainers and had to sell them back to the store for half the price or bought expired milk from Pick N Pay and to sell it back as feta cheese for half price.
