Sunnyside Cash Crusaders are ******s

I had loaned or pawned an item to cash crusaders in June 2017 because I was desperate and needed money urgently. I was away and i totally missed an expiry date of 19 July 2017. I went to the store after three days which was Thursday 22 July2017 but the shop was closed for revamping and there was a contact number provided to make arrangements which I called but calls couldn't go through, until I went there physical yesterday on 24 July 2017 to make arrangements to pay interests. Only to find out that my item is on the floor selling on a double price of what I was loaned and that was a surprise because I they could not offer me the higher amount I needed at the time. I then spoke to the store manager who told me they have sent me an sms before they decided to putting it on the floor and then I told him I didn't get any sms and he said maybe I provided a wrong number but the story then changed to in future the shop will send notifications. He then told me i need to buy it with that higher price. I feel this is very unreasonable and we are being ****** for our belongings, I also feel I should the manager should have been able to assist me as the owner. Now I've lost the item, i feel they should atleast allow customers maximum of 3-5 days after 30 days have elapsed or even notify them via sms. I feel Cash Crusaders in Sunnyside-Pretoria is just robbing people of their items or belongings and something have to be done and not let them get away with the behaviour or there should be the law to protect the consumers. And I was told other cash crusaders stores do allow customers to collect their items as long as the item is still on the floor but for me it was a different case and I feel this is unfair. Please help.

Dear Hellopeter,
This is to acknowledge your effort in assisting me with my complain.
Kindly be informed that I received a call from Ceasar, the Area Manager for Cash Cruseders and we had a discussion about everything that occured on monday 24 July 2017 at Sunnyside Cash Crusaders. We negotiated the price and Ceasar further arranged for me to go to the store in Sunnyside and speak to the store manager. Ceaser was very helpful because we managed to resolve the misunderstandings and both parties reached an agreement.
Thank you once again for your intervetion on the matter.
Regards
Emmanuel
