Spares cannot be purchased for damaged cellphones ( FIGI Note 7 Pro)

I bought a cellphone ( FIGI Note 7 Pro) from this company in August this year for my granddaughter and she accidently dropped it and damaged the screen. I approached the store to purchase a replacement screen which I could fit myself, and was told that thay do not sell spares, and that I would have to have the phone repaired by them. I would not have found an issue with that except that the cost would be 48% of the original price of the phone which cost R 2200.00 ( R1000 to have a screen replaced by them). Phones which cost double that price, and which are not purchased from them, have screens available for much less and do not require the repair to be done by the company they were purchased from.
