Shocking Service: Cash Crusaders Silent Despite Emails, Social Media & Escalation

Follow-Up (28 September 2025):

I am shocked at the way this complaint has been handled.

My original complaint with Cash Crusaders (***, lodged 08 September 2025) has still not been addressed. Instead, a different ticket that was generated during email correspondence was closed without any resolution. I have received no feedback at all from Head Office or Customer Service since 11 September.

This means:

The original issue remains unresolved.

Cash Crusaders closed a ticket without ever addressing my complaint.

Despite my repeated emails (08/09, 09/09, 12/09, 19/09, 23/09), there has been total silence.

I have even attempted to contact Cash Crusaders through their social media platforms, but still no reply.

Given this lack of accountability, I have now escalated the matter to the National Credit Regulator (NCR) and the Consumer Goods & Services Ombud (CGSO) for investigation.

The way this has been handled is astounding and wholly unacceptable.

Follow-Up (30 September 2025):
I am beyond frustrated. Since discovering on 06 September 2025 that my guitar had been sold, I have followed every possible channel to resolve this matter — emails, in-store discussions, social media, and even escalating to the Consumer Goods & Services Ombud (CGSO) and the National Credit Regulator (NCR).
Yet to this day I have received no feedback, no resolution, not even an acknowledgement of receipt from Cash Crusaders, Customer Service, or Head Office.
My formal complaint (Ref: 11600) has simply been ignored. The last reply I received from the branch was on 11 September 2025 — and since then, complete silence.
This isn’t just about money. My Epiphone Les Paul guitar, brought from the US in 2011, held immense sentimental value. Despite the store admitting they received my payments (R1,100), they failed to allocate them, never contacted me, and sold my guitar and case anyway.
To have lost something so valuable is devastating. To then be ignored completely by every level of Cash Crusaders is unacceptable.
