Selling my asset without prior informing

on 10th of April took out a loan with cash crusaders at louis trichardt. The guy assisting at the time failed to give me agreement and said the store will send out sms when the payment is due, i waited and received no sms nor phone call, i then decided to visit the branch today to find my item has been released, how do they sell my item without prior communication and yet the stuff are very rude and dismissive when i asked them to let me settle whatever due to them as i had no knowledge of due dates yet they still refuse. i wonder if this is how they run their business because this is a complete theft
