SELLING BLACKLISTED PHONES

I bought an IPhone 15 from the Cash Crusaders Ballito branch. Was having problems with signal when adding a second e-sim. Went to Apple Store on countless occasions, had to pay R300 for them to evaluate the phone. Turns out cash crusaders SOLD ME A BLACKLISTED PHONE!!! I went back to the branch, Dumi, the manager, was extremely helpful and friendly HOWEVER, she was taking telephonic instructions from her superior, Khalid. I got refunded for the amount I purchased the device for but I wanted the R300 back that I had to pay Apple to tell me that the phone was blacklisted, as this is only fair. I should not have been left out of pocket for something I am not liable for. Khalid refused telephonically to give me the R300 back. I had the Apple Invoice reflecting this amount paid.

So not only did it cause a huge inconvenience, it also left me out of pocket! This is shocking that one “trusts” cash crusaders as a reputable South African brand and that it turns out that you should never buy anything from them!! It’s shocking that they can sell a blacklisted phone to the public!! They should be able to check their devices better! They will never ever see myself or my family members again!!

I have sent them an email as well and forwarded them the Istore invoice. I requested that my R300 be reimbursed but they have not made any further contact with me.
