Sell faulty goods then refuse to exchange or refund

<p>On the 13th December 2016 I went to Cash CrusadersAlberton to purchase an external hard drive and I was sold the WD COMPUTER DRIVE 1TB for R699.90. The following morning as I tried to use it downloading work documentation and it took forever downloading.</p> <p>Initially, when I got home to check the documentation I had downloaded there was nothing.</p> <p>My husband then took it back to the shop a week later but was told they would not take it back as they don't check, refund or repair goods after 7 days, although this particular externall hard drive had a 6 months' warrenty plan -which is also clearly printed on the slip.</p> <p>In short, I was sold a defected product which they refused to take back.</p> <p>As far as the service from in-store staff goes, they are very unhelpful and have a bad attitude, especially when you have a complaint. I was totally unsatified.</p> <p>I would highly discourage anyone going there to purchase anything because at the end of the day its like throwing money down the drain.</p>
