Review for Cash Crusaders Boitekong Mall and Rustenburg

I am beyond disappointed with the service at Cash Crusaders, particularly at the Boitekong Mall and Rustenburg branches. This is the second time I’ve experienced blatant misuse of my property, and it’s unacceptable.

I recently took my PS4 console to the Boitekong Mall branch for a loan. When I returned home and powered it on, I discovered a soccer game installed on my system—a game I have never played. This means the staff at the store used my console while it was in their care.

This isn’t an isolated incident. At the Rustenburg branch, they wiped 200GB of my personal games and data to make space for a game they wanted to play. This kind of behavior is beyond *********—it’s outright disrespectful to customers and their property.

Their adverti*****ts claim your belongings are “safe” with them, but my experience has been the opposite. Signing a loan contract with Cash Crusaders apparently gives them a free pass to treat your property as if it belongs to them. It’s appalling to think they feel entitled to browse, delete, and install whatever they want on a customer’s device.

Why is this happening? Are employees not paid enough to buy their own consoles? Is it too much for the company to provide staff with their own gaming systems so they don’t tamper with ours? I’ve walked into these stores numerous times and seen staff standing around playing games, which is disturbing enough without knowing they’re using our devices to do it.

Cash Crusaders needs to take action. Install security protocols to prevent unauthorized use of customer property. Enforce professional behavior in your branches. And most importantly, protect the trust of your customers.

Until then, I cannot recommend Cash Crusaders. If you value your property and your privacy, consider looking elsewhere.

This behavior is absolutely unacceptable, and I will not be returning unless significant changes are made.
