Poor return policy

I bought a DVD player at cash Crusaders in kenako mall in Pe, it is playing everything else only my stick is not playing, went in today to return it and was told that my stick was not right I have to buy another one and I did buy R130 and it was still doing the same thing . spent the whole 30 mins to be told that they can't do anything maybe its my music that's not right. I told the salesman that I brought it back because I only wanted the one that's going to do what I want. I dont want anything from them if they can't give me the right DVD then I just want my money so that I can buy it somewhere else. The stories that they are telling me have nothing to do with me, they made buy something that I didn't want, still I don't get any help.
