I bought a brand new Dixon kettle on the 24 March 2023 it's been 7 months till now transaction NR TS240323NZIN084 from cash Crusaders Newton park Port Elizabeth . Today I went to exchanged it as it trips my electricity when I got to store the assistant manager told me that the kettle has to go for repair , I was so shocked as since when does kettles go for repairs and the policy on the slip doesn't state that , if it's their policy then they should state it on their till slips normally at any outlet store that sells kettles there is an over the counter exchange that's been done , I need an manager to contact me as I will take this up Ombudsman as how they conduct business as then every other retailer would also repair kettle or he doesn't know what he is talking about , and I also want to note I was so shocked to hear that the assistant manager is the assistant manger because he has no customer service whatsoever he don't know how to deal with customers it's not my first time dealing with him he's arrogant don't know what's he's problem is but it looks to me when he deals with me or my wife he has a stink attitude which is very bad for business you have just lost a regular customer that always pops in at your store I will never come to that store again I even opt to take a other kettle as that one is discontinued and pay difference in he didn't want to , he can't even leave me in the same position he found me , he unsure how long the so called repair would take 7 to 14 days he said bit I do know repairs all over take up to 21 days he first had to make phone calls to find that out , I need a full refund to take my business elsewhere CPA states if a unit goes for assessment and there is fault find customer has the right to take a full refund or the exchange whatever the customer decides that is what's the CPA consists of . I need a manager to contact me store manager to contact me ASAP they have my contact details .
