Never advised of other options to pay therefore lost my item

Disgusting customer service at cash crusaders bluff towers. I was in Durban for holiday in Dec 2021 and pawned off my wedding ring in need of urgent cash.

In January I struggled to get hold of the branch. Eventually was told I can't do an eft and need to come into the branch. I explained that I am in jhb and they said they can't help me.

I eventually had a friend travelling that way to go in and pay for me. Now February same story. Stinking attitude over their WhatsApp line. I get told I can't pay via eft. A week later I travelled to come pay for my ring and was told sorry the ring has already been melted. Just imagine. The guy also tells me that I could have paid online .. I said to him but I kept asking for an alternative via WhatsApp and was told there is no other way but to come swipe at the branch.

I'm so disgusted with their service and want this matter looked into further.

My wedding ring was way more expensive than what I was given to pawn it let alone sentimental value.

I want my ring back
