My items were sold without my acknowledgement

I went into cash crusaders Pretoria, Sunnyside with my laptop which worth 7k to loan R500 against. Apon doing so I signed a contract with them stating that if I was late my goods were to be sold. That being said I've dealt with this specific cash crusaders for years and have always received a notification notifying me my goods were to expire. On the 27th of September I went to collect my goods and had found out that half of my goods were being sold. The only reason I couldn't make it to the store on the due date sonce it was a public holiday, they didn't open. I had no idea about it because I did not receive a notification and because I had been away on business. I feel unfairly treated and this is ********* because I have a contract stating that I'll be notified. Please help me understand I'll pay money for the loan I have taken. What a worse service!!!
