Misleading Product Listing and Poor Customer Service

I am extremely disappointed with the experience I’ve had with Cash Crusaders regarding a recent purchase. I completed a transaction for what was listed as an iPhone 16 on their website for R2299. However, after payment was processed, I was informed that the item had already been sold.

Later, I received a contradictory explanation admitting it was a system error and the product was, in fact, an iPhone 7 that had been incorrectly listed as an iPhone 16. To make matters worse, the initial communication misrepresented the situation entirely, claiming the product was sold to avoid explaining the listing error.

As a customer, I re**** on the information provided on their website in good faith. It is unacceptable for a company to provide false information, process payment for unavailable or incorrectly labeled items, and then fail to take accountability for the inconvenience caused.

Despite my attempts to resolve the issue directly, Cash Crusaders has failed to provide a satisfactory resolution, such as offering a comparable product at the same price or compensating me for the frustration caused by their misleading practices.

This experience has eroded my trust in their brand, and I will be escalating this matter to the relevant consumer protection authorities. Companies should be held accountable for their errors and the way they treat their customers.

I hope others are aware of this experience before making a purchase with Cash Crusaders.
