Loant against goods and they damaged them!

What an appalling level of service offered by Cash Crusaders Durbanville and complete lack of accountability. In December I ran into financial difficulties and was forced to loan against some of Jewellery, at the end of January I was 1 day late in paying the interest and the item was sold to a gold merchant! After much running around and a hefty financial penalty the jewellery was recovered but it had been damaged, the white gold radium coating had been removed and essentially my jewellery is now ruined and requires extensive cost to return it to the original state. The manager and his staff are not prepared to accept any responsibility for this damage and are further unprepared to accept that by selling the product to the gold vendor they are in contradiction of their contract with me as no contact or follow-up was made and it is unfair for them to indicate a Sunday as the day for payment when they are not open and then sell your items on the Monday. This is absolute disgusting and I will be taking this matter further and public to ensure that others are aware of the lack of ethics from this company! Pathetic!
