Immenent lawsuit for Breach of contract

My R30000, +/-1yr old laptop was damaged while in pawn at cash crusaders, their indemnity clause clearly states on the contract that if my belongings are damaged by them then I will be paid out the fair market value price of the item but instead they want me to choose from 2 of the same laptops from only God know where to compensate me but that's not in the contract and I did not sign for that, initially the guy that evaluated my laptop said he can resell it for 9k so I'm assuming that is the market value and that's what I expect or I will definitely be going down the legal route where they will be liable for the price of a brand new laptop, legal fees and punitive damages seeing as I'm missing work to sit there every day. I'm going to the store tomorrow 17/02/2025 to resolve this matter should that be a waste I will edit this review with the store name but in the same breath I would like to commend the supervisor dudu she tried everything in her power to rectify the matter but management refused to budge.
