I'm never gonna buy anything from any of the branches

I brought a second hand belt sander from the Pinetown branch, their plugged it in just to show us that it works for 2 seconds and unplugged it

This was a week ago and today is my first day actually using it with a belt and that And 30 seconds into using the machine it went up in a cloud of smoke and I brought the Machine back to the store to get a refund, the boss of the store refuses to give a refund even though there is a 6 month warranty.

How can we(the customer) take a piece of machinery that is second hand can't even bring it back cause of a defect that they couldn't pick up of not testing it properly in the first place
