I am extremely disappointed about the service I received and way I have been treated at Cash Crusaders, Table View, Cape Town.
Scenario: On the 13th July 2019 I purchased a brand new PS3 remote from Cash Crusaders in Table View and walked away as a happy customer. When I got home and played a game with my new remote, I realized that the remote has a glitch/problem with the left analog every now and then. Unfortunately, I stay an hour and a half’s drive from Table view, but the next time I went to a town where there is a Cash crusaders (Vredenburg) I took the remote with me as well as my original slip. When handing the remote in the employee told me that the serial number on the remote and the slip are slightly different but told me that it has to be a problem from the Cash Crusaders in Table view’s side but said that he will send it in any way. I haven’t received a call or SMS saying that its ready for collection, I went to Spain for 2 months after that and on returning to South Africa I went to see if its ready for collection. And it was. I was informed that its been fixed and tested and everything is in working condition. Just to be disappointed when testing it at home. It was better but still not fixed or working as a new controller should. I then decided to take it back to Cash crusaders in Table View. Problem: 11th November 2019 I was then told that the remote that I gave them (according to them) was not the one that I bought from them. Because the serial numbers on the remote and the slip aren’t the same. ***(Serial number on remote) *** (Serial number on slip) I have no doubt that it is the exact same remote that they placed in my shopping bag on the 13th July that I took back to them on the 11th November. And am convinced that it isn’t possible to for the serial numbers to be that close to each other if it was not their fault. I totally agreed when they told me that if the bar code was scanned then it won’t be possible to have a different bar code on the slip than on the remote, so I asked them if they can scan the remote again to see if maybe the bar code was printed wrong by any chance. When the employee tried to scan the remotes bar code it did not scan it no matter how many times she tried to scan it and then she said “ The scanner fail to pick up the bar codes sometimes” (while continuing attempting to scan it with no luck). It was at that point when I had no doubt that the same thing happened on the 13th July and the employee decided to type in the bar code and failed to type in the correct bar code and I understand because it is printed extremely small. I realized that they don’t want to accept it that it is their fault and knew that we won’t get anywhere with the unfortunate situation. They made me sound like I am a ******** to bring in a different remote and made me look bad in front of other customers. I felt extremely humiliated because I have always been an extremely honest person. I really hope that someone important in Cash Crusaders see my complaint, sees that it’s not my fault and act on the problem with the service of Cash Crusaders, Table view. Kind regards Daniël Huysamen +***7 ***
