Horrible service in contravention of CPA

I bought a padlock on 05 December 2025 from your Fourways branch; however, I later realised the padlock was too big for what I had intended to use it for. The padlock is still in its original packaging, which has not been tampered with, along with the invoice. So, I returned it to the store on06 December 2025, to either get a smaller on, or a refund. I was told by three sales associates that they do not offer any warranty on my purchase, and it becomes my problem. It is also important to mention that Loyed, the regional manager, had been away from the store for over an hour, and no one knew when he would be back; and I was therefore advised that I could wait for him to tell me the same thing, because he will not authorise a refund or return, but no one knew when that would be. I fail to understand how the store can endorse a police gravely contravening the CPA.

I am actually no longer interested in exchanging the product, but rather a refund. Their website also does not allow you to leave a complaint. There is a form, but it goes nowhere.
