False Warranty Policy

Bought a battery operated Dixon drill from Cash Crusaders Van Riebeeck Mall (Johannesburg) on 6 April 2022. The battery pack light does not change from red to green to indicate that the battery is fully charged, these Lihion batteries cannot be left in charge indefinitely as they can explode & catch fire and know that nothing will extinguish it. I spoke to Colin at the branch yesterday 12th April and was told to bring the battery back for them to see. Today is day 7 following purchase. Colin stated that he could not change it, I asked to speak to the manager Neal Meyer who was very ****y, rude & refused to exchange the battery. The Warranty Policy printed on the back of the till slips state that faulty goods, if returned within the 7 day period will be repaired, replaced or refunded. Neal Meyer refused to all of the above. The drill works perfectly, I just want the battery pack sorted out. Thank you
