Doogee **** and Cash Crusaders Poor Management

On 11 December we purchased 2 Doogee X53 phones from Cash Crusaders in Randridge Mall, the salesman was quite convincing that these phones were the top of the range for this make and we didn't expect to have any issues. I loaded the basic apps on my phone (no social media) and started using it, by day 2 it was slow not to mention almost impossible to answer calls, and the sound quality was similar to sitting in a public bathroom with the phone on the opposite end. Yesterday while attempting to answer a call, the phone slipped out of my hand and the screen cracked (this is with the screen protector still in tact), so I took it back this morning to enquire about returning the other phone (with the same issues) and have the screen repaired (at the very least it can be used as a scanner linked to my pc), if not returned. I dealt with 2 ladies who were less than helpful before Dylan (the initial salesman) recognised me and came to assist. In spite of all 2 sales staff having to go and speak to the "manager" Hank, he did not see fit to come out of hiding to actually talk to me. So the broken screen substandard excuse of a cellphone has been sent back for analysis and I will attempt to take the second unused phone back for credit tomorrow. The warning to potential consumers out there is: DO NOT PURCHASE A DOOGEE PHONE they are about as usefull as a very pricey paperweight and if you need to speak to MANAGEMENT AT CASH CRUSADERS RANDRIDGE MALL (HANK) he will go deep undercover, if you can't manage sir, then perhaps you should find a more suitable position.

Reviewer Update
After complaining to Cash Crusaders Head Office and receiving the response from the owner of the Randridge Mall branch, Henk du Plessis I can fully understand where the lack of customer service comes from, below is his response when I questioned why I had not been contacted by the branch with feedback and what the outcome of the fault reports for the phones were since they had to be sent to head office in order for a decision to be made. "Phones was bought on 11 Dec 2018. The silver phone was brought back on the 19th December with a cracked screen which immediately voids the warrantee AS IT IS PHYSICAL DAMAGE. The black phone was brought back on the 20th 9 days after purchase with no defect. Our warrantee policy stipulate “WE REQUEST YOU RETURN OUT OF BOX FAULTY GOODS DURING THE FIRST 7 DAYS PERIOD WHICH WILL BE REPLACED,REFUNDED ER REPAIRED AT OUR COST ………” As you can see your claim does not meet our warrantee policy and therefore your claim has not been granted. Regards Henk du Plessis. I urge anyone who even considers spending any of their hard earned cash at this outlet to think again, you would receive better service from a government department on a public holiday! As for Mr du Plessis, he will be hearing from my attorney.
