Do not trust a Cash Crusaders Promise
Saw an item at Cash Crusaders on Saturday, 28 Sept, which I was sure my duaghter would want. She confirmed just as the shop closed on Saturday. I confirmed over the telephone on Sunday morning, and offered to pay immediately by EFT. I was advised by salesperson by the name of Bester that this was not necessary and he promised to keep the item for me to collect on Monday. I confirmed that I would be there at 3.pm today (Monday). He confirmed that would be fine. I arrived at 3pm to collect the goods, only to be informed that, despite Bester's word, the item had been sold. This is thoroughly unprofessional behaviour. Bester, who was in the store at 3pm today, made no effort to explain or apologise. Barbara, on the tills, can confirm my phone call (two calls, in fact, as I was so anxious to confirm Bester's promise) and the fact that she put me through to Bester. Total lack of integrity and customer ethics.
