Dixon Tablet Warranty Failure
On 6 November 2021, I purchased a Dixon TD-M103A for R2199.00 for my mom. At the end of June the charging port stopped working. On 30 June I took it back as it was under warranty. I was told they would call me. At the end of July I went back after no phone calls. I was told the charging port is not covered by warranty but they could fix it then give me a quote. I asked rather that they let me know approximately how much it would cost. Once I was told they would call back. I went again to find out what they reply was. I was told the charging port is attached to the motherboard and would cost more than a new tablet. I was given a phone number for manager which was wrong number. The tablet had only been used 3 months out of the 7 months it was in our possession because my mom could not figure out how to use it. So I took it over.
