Dixon Brand Product Warranties Are NOT Honoured

I purchased a brand new (Dixon) cell phone just over three weeks ago (5/3/2021) from the East Lynne Cash Crusaders in Pretoria. After the second week the phone would not charge pass 89%. Last Friday the phone just stopped charging all together. I used the charger on my tablet and it worked. I then tried the tablet charger and it still didn't charge. I checked the battery to see if it was swollen but that looked 100%. The phone is in brand new condition because it was well looked after. The warranty said that the battery isn't covered so I knew that I had been cheated. When I bought the phone I was told that they would send in the phone (made for Cash Crusaders only they said) and if it was the battery I would have to purchase it. The warranty does not say that they don't cover the charge port. At the store they confirmed that the phone is faulty and the battery is 100% but I will have to pay for the repairs. This is disgusting! The product is obviously sub standard quality. If the port is examined it is obvious the phone has not been abused, and the phone is brand new. I have been ******! Do NOT buy any Dixon product when you see them in their stores. I noticed the prices are fairly low for that brand, which begs the question, is it because the product is cheaply and poorly made. I certainly won't buy from Cash Crusaders anymore.
