Dishonest & Full Of Lies - Dispectful Store Manager

I called the Lambton store where I had taken a loan out in lieu of my Huawei Mate 40 Pro on Sunday the 31st August 2022, to request a link of extension so that I could extend my loan as I've usually received a link which normally pay via having tried the previous links which did not work on the Saturday afternoon. The consultant then took my ID number and checked the system and proceeded to inform me that my contract had expired yesterday and that I could not extend, I immediately requested to speak to the Store Manager who was not there and the consultant said that I should call later. I contacted the store at 12pm and requested to speak to the manager as directed by the consultant I had spoken to earlier.

I proceeded to explain the situation to Maki the Store Manager, who asked for my ID and checked her system confirming my details. I informed I wanted to extend however, I could not as explained by the consultant of which I understood, however I would not be able to come collect the device on that Sunday and requested to make an alternative arrangement to collect the device on Thursday 4th August 2022. Maki agreed, proceeded to write down my ID, make, model and took both my contact numbers. She promised me that all is in order and that should I not arrive as agreed on Thursday 4th August 2022 she would release the phone onto the floor at 9am on Friday the 5th 2022.

To my surprise I arrived at the store on the 4th at 13h30 and one lady casually said to me you here to collect your phone? I was surprised and I said yes and went to the till. The consultant asked for my ID and promptly said that there was nothing on the system under my ID number. She then went to call her "Store Manager" (Not Maki) who also checked the system and informed that my phone was sold on Wednesday. To my shock and horror I then asked how that was possible as I had called and made an arrangement to come collect the phone on Thursday. She informed that she wasn't aware and she had released the phone to the floor on Tuesday as ordered by her head office. She then went to go call Maki who then after 15 to 20 minutes came to me.

1) Maki acknowledged that I had spoken to her and she indeed agreed to the arrangement.

2) Maki then told me that unfortunately my phone was sold and there was nothing she could do as she was not the one who released it to the floor.

3) I asked how could she allow such a thing to happen to my R20 000 worth phone which I was there to collect as arranged. I know my contract obligations hence I took the necessary steps to ensure that I would not lose my valued phone. Noting that I had never missed any previous extentions.

4) Maki then told me that the phone was in high demand and that it sold quickly at R9000 as they normally advertise on Facebook. To my shock how could she even say this!

5) I told her that this is unacceptable why was I not called if the the phone was being released before I was due to come in? She could not answer...

6) Maki blatantly told me she forgot to tell her other Manager not to release the phone and that she was not in on Tuesday or Wednesday as her mother is in hospital.

7) conflict of stories: If she was not in on Tuesday or Wednesday why did Maki not make note on Sunday or Monday or inform her staff. Is there no handover of such important undertakings that have been committed to? This further raised red flags. Was this phone really sold on Tuesday or Wednesday?

8) Maki then disappear to the back office without any further reasoning. As sat in the store for two hours watching everyone carry on with jobs as it there is no concern including the other store manager who told me that they can't get hold of the client that bought my phone.

9) 15h30 Maki storms out demanding my contract or ID I took out my ID and gi gave her my ID and informed her to atleast have some respect for me or my time if i's the least she could do. She then went back to the office with my ID to do what I don't know...

10) She comes back at 4pm telling me that she called the "client" and that the "client" said they had bought the phone for her daughter who is in Zimbabwe.

Maki then says sorry, she can't help me even "Robert" said they can't do anything. She's sorry for making a promise to me.

11) I proceeded to question her integrity and informed that I would not accept her lies and dishonesty in this situation and that she must get my phone back.

12) THE DISREPECT: Maki then tells me that I talk too much and that she needs to go the toilet as it's that time of the month.

I am a long standing customer of Cash Crusader and have spent many thousand of rands over the years and still continue to. I bought a 15k TV set at the Belair branch the very same day before going to Lambton to indicate to you all that I was not in any manner willing to lose my R20 000 phone.

I would like thorough investigation into this matter please.

1) When was my phone sold: R9000 2) When does the sale appear on the Lambton income statement of R9000. 3) When was the phone released to the floor 4) Maki must be held accountable and she must explain why she neglected the arrangement and she must apologize for her dispresct towards and calling me names of which I will disclose in her hearing.

5) I would like to formally log a grievance against her for insulting me.

6) Maki must contact me and advise when will I get my phone as I will not accept anything less?

Highly upset customer
