Different pricing on NEW GOODS at different branches

While shopping at gezina galleries shopping centre today i went into the cash crusaders and while i was there i looked at the elsys Android tv box and it was R949. BRAND NEW NOT SECOND HAND.

After we got home we decided we were going to purchase one, so i drove to the cash crusaders in east lynn which is near my home only to see the same item is R1099 at their branch. I told the consultant i was just at the other branch an hour ago and its a cheaper price there. I asked them to call the other branch to confirm, the manager, Nigel, then said no and that the one i saw was propably a second hand item.

I told him no it was at their Android tv display and the boxes were all marked R949.

HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE ON A BRAND NEW ITEM THAT ALL THE BRANCHES SELL? WHY WAS THE MANAGER NOT WILLING TO CALL THE OTHER BRANCH?

I left the store and told him thanks..you will here from me again and this is why i am writing this review.
