Cracked, Locked Phone and No Warrantee?

The service I received from the Cash Crusaders Elarduspark branch was pathetic to say the least!. The lady behind the counter refused to speak to me, her colleagues had to translate everything she said from her native tongue. I Bought a Phone from them yesterday, after investigating the phone I saw that the screen had a crack in so they provided me with a discount on condition I forfeit my warrantee. When I tried to set up the phone it still had the previous owners details on, which meant I couldn't do anything on it. I went back to the store & they said I have 2 choices, either pick another phone of the same value (I specifically wanted that phone so that wasn't an option) or I give it in but it would take 21 days to fix. When I asked the gentleman what they would do to fix it if I gave it in, he said they would take it to the the pakkie? I offered to take it there myself and bring the slip, they refused and said I must choose an option or fix the phone myself as it has no warrantee. I left the shop with a cracked screen, a locked phone AND no warranty. Surely there should be better standards than this when they buy products from people, and providing better customer service? This was an absolute ******* and the service was pathetic!
