Complaint Regarding Incorrect Renewal and Miscommunication at Cash Crusaders

Dear Cash Crusaders, I am writing to formally address an issue regarding the renewal of my pawned items. During my recent visit, I asked the sales consultant at the front desk if I could renew or extend my items. She informed me that only my ID number was required and that I did not need any additional forms. I provided my ID number and clearly requested to renew all of my items as I was going away. However, when I returned to collect my item, I found it on the shelf for sale. The manager explained that he could only return my items at a discounted price, which was unacceptable. If the store intended to follow a specific policy requiring extension forms or documentation, I should have been informed of this during my initial interaction, rather than just being asked for my ID number. I kindly request that my items be returned to me in their original condition or as agreed upon. I also hope for more transparency in the future regarding the required procedures for renewing or extending pawned items. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely,

Terry Jansen

Complaint Regarding Service at Cash Crusaders Belair Shopping Centre
Dear Cash Crusaders Belair Shopping Centre
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the subpar service I received at the Cash Crusaders store in Belair Shopping Centre. My experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing, and I feel that my concerns need to be addressed.
First, my cordless drill was not renewed as per our prior agreement. When I approached the manager regarding this issue, I was met with a dismissive response. The manager's comment that "it's her word against yours" left me feeling as though my concerns were being entirely disregarded, suggesting that my perspective held no value.
Yesterday, I returned to extend the buy-back period on some of my goods. When I arrived, I was dismayed to find that my important work tools were placed on the floor with significantly higher price tags than what was originally agreed upon. As I sought clarification, I was told that the matter was "out of his hands" and that I needed to speak with the buying department. Additionally, I was instructed to pay the inflated price for these items if I wanted to keep them, despite my prior agreement to extend them.
I have been a loyal customer for some time, regularly bringing in goods for buy-back and extending them on multiple occasions, often for several months. However, the staff did not seem to acknowledge my history with the store, which gives the impression that they do not value their customers or the relationship we have built over time. One of the employees even commented on the manager’s poor attitude, further highlighting the ongoing issues with the store's customer service.
As a result of these repeated issues, I feel compelled to request that my goods be reinstated to their original buy-back status, with the original pricing app****. I would also appreciate it if these matters could be investigated and resolved to ensure that future customers do not experience similar treatment.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to a prompt resolution.

Sincerely,
Terry Jansen
