I'm writing this with a heavy heart and deep disappointment. On 29 March 2025, a laptop was purchased from Cash Crusaders at Soshanguve Mall by my mother on my behalf, using my NSFAS funding. Although the original receipt has unfortunately been misplaced, I can provide proof of payment if required.

Despite the laptop being less than three months old, it is already experiencing serious issues — including battery failure and software malfunctions — making it difficult, if not impossible, to use. I returned the laptop to the store, hoping it could be repaired or replaced under warranty. However, I was told that the warranty does not cover battery or software issues and that I would need to pay additional money for a replacement.

This response is extremely disappointing, especially considering the short time since purchase and the importance of this laptop for my academic work. I kindly request that the matter be reconsidered and that a fair resolution be offered. I believe that, at the very least, the battery issue should be covered under the warranty, as it is a critical hardware component that should not fail so quickly.
