Cash Crusaders will take your money and then ignore you if you have a problem!

I bought a "new" Doogee X5 Pro Max from Cash Crusaders in Edenvale. On closer inspection when I got home (I didn't have my galsses with me in the shop) I found that what was supposed to be a new phone was in fact used - it was full of scratches. It also started palying up - it just got slower and slower. I returned it to the shop and they replaced it without a question. The second phone I subsequently found out also came from an open box - all the cables were loose. This phone then decided to not switch on a couple of weeks after I bought it.

I now no longer live in the area so I took it to a local branch of Cash Crusaders who promptly told me that they were not going to help me. I had to return it to the Edenvale branch. This I finally did and then the real problems started.

To start off with, the shop opened almost ten minutes late. After opening, it was impossible to find anyone to help me. When they did, they were initially quite prepared to give me a replacement unit. When they listened to the entire ordeal, they then decided that the had to send the phone in for repairs which would take two weeks.

I requested to speak to the owner of the shop but they called the manager instead. What a ****y, arrogant person. And, to make matter worse, I could hardly hear him n the other end of the line because the music in the shop was being played so loud.

After wasting my time for three quarters fo an hour, I finally left the shop no closer to a solution. Two phone calls to head office later and two promises that the regional manager for Edenvale would call me back, I still have not heard from them.

These people are very keen to take your maney but if you have a problem they seem to be allergic to any form of assistance.

They obviously have never heard of the consumer protection act or of the small claims court. Maybe its time that someone introduced them to these tow as well to the obviously strange concept of customer servive!
