Cash crusaders sunnyside - Daylight ******t
I took a loan on an item and due to a family emergency i was away and i was unable to make payment to retrieve my item on the given date, and when i called the store to make necessary arrangements i was rudely told that my item is now on the floor and being sold, i asked the store lady if i could speak to the manager and she impatiently told me that i can’t talk to the manager because the manager is gonna tell me the exact same thing that she told me and she hanged up on me. I found that very rude.
Usually i receive 64hour sms notifying me of the due date of my item and this time i didn’t get any notification, so to me that seemed very ***** that i wasn’t communicated to that my laptop was being sold and now i was forced to pay 5x the amount that i had initially taken the loan on. I feel very ****** and the store showed no compassion in helping me out with this. I feel that this is very unreasonable, and cash crusaders should be consistent in notifying people when their items are expiring and being sold. I also think its unfair that when the fault is on their side, when i can’t make payment because their system is offline, they request that i come back the following to make payment regardless of the distance that i travel to get their store. Why can’t the same effort and energy be made when a customer is unable to get to the store 1-3 days after the expiry date of the item and make payments? I feel like a grace period of 2-5 days after the initial 30 days should be given to customers before their items are sold or atleast notify the customer first. Honestly what i went through felt like a ******* because i took a R500 loan and i was forced to buy my item for R3000.
