I’m writing this with a very heavy heart,on the 27th of July 2025,I took in my iPhone 14 pro max for a R3500 loan at cash crusaders Hebron mall of which on the 20th of August 2025 I went to pay for the loan amount Of R4160 expecting to get my phone back,when the phone came back I noticed it had a scratch in a place where I knew it had not had,I then tried charging the phone to make sure it was mine only to find that the phone was not only not working because it wasn’t charging but it had been replaced with a demo phone replicating the exact same phone that I had bought in ,the branch manager was then called in to the situation mentioned and she asked for me to give her 7 days to try resolve the matter,in this seven days I was promised that footage will be retrieved and even went to an extent of saying she will be running polygraph tests on the workers to try get to the bottom of this,since that day I have been having fluctuational conversations with her about the case, today is the 2nd of September I went to visit the branch in hopes of reaching a neutral agreement I asked about the footage and was only told today that the cameras had problems 2 weeks prior to me fetching my phone and that no footage could be retrieved and that even if there was she wasn’t going to tell me who was the culprit or where my phone was taken to,I’m writing to this to be assisted in this matter as I don’t know whether or not my case is taken as serious as they claim to be
