Cash Crusaders Bel Air - are your goods as safe as you think?

They have now come back to me and admitted that the rings in question were sold. (They only reference one but I am sure that the engagement ring was in the same envelope. So, the ring was sold, I then came in and paid for the rings in question. They found my husband's wedding ring but not mine even though the computer insist that it is in the safe. They apologise for the inconvenience and in order to make good, invite me to choose from their other rings and I can BUY it at a discount price. Apparently selling the same goods more than once is acceptable. The gold dealer they sold it to must-have paid. They then got me to pay in order to get it back which I did. The fact that I beleieved that it was safely stored in the safe was a huge factor so I dutifully paid up. Now they are offering to let me buy another one at a discount. How does that make it right that they sold the same goods twice? And why was the computer never updated with the sale to the gold dealer? Claiming the ring was in the safe was not a misunderstanding - it was a blatant lie. I don't want to pay them more money - I just want mine back. Maybe a forensic audit would be a good idea to see how many other items have been sold twice?
