Cash Crusader mess
I went to cash crusaders more than a week ago and found this amazing price for a handset in Pretoria sunnyside, i got in terested in buying the iphone 6 plus . On the 23/05/2018 i then called the branch after a week of seeing that handset on the shelve. I spoke to the store manager by the name of Vincent and he confirmed the handset is on the shelves and selling yet i need to speak to a lady called martha(if i remember the name correctly) who works at cellphone counter. She also confirmed as the manager and i remember speaking to both and they assured me to come to the store when i knock off and i told vincent that im willing to put a hold on it and release it friday the 25th. When i went to the store later i found a guy called Tebogo who somehow knew i was there about an iphone, as i asked for martha whom i spoke to on the call i was not told where she is and given another lady who happened to also knew i came for the iphone. The funny part is that the lady had already inserted her sim into that iphone and i was told that it does not read the simcard or cant search. I kept quite because setting up an iphone requires wifi connection and the iphone was not connected. I then called vincent and he had no better option but to promise me they will take it to an indian shop to inspect it and give me feedback which was never given to me. On the same day there was a smart individual who actually knew that the phone is not working by telling Tebogo that "ejo watseba adintshi daar" meaning you know that phone is not working. I called the store the next day and tebogo told me i must call at 16:30 for feedback as he took it for inspection. When i called at 16:30 the phone rang but not answer and at somepoint it would be rejected till i knocked off at 18:00. Friday morning i went to the store to purchase the handset and tebogo went outside the store and came back in less than 10 minutes to tell me that the phone is blocked.i then called for vincent and he was nowhere and scissor was called as the area manager. Arrear manager never gave me atleast an offer for a different handset or whatsoever besides giving me answers that are waisting more of my effort and meassures that are creating a loss to the franchise or the company.
Why was the phone on the shelve for more than 2 weeks if its not working, especially if someone in the store knew its not working? What advertising is it? Competitors loose now because you excite customers with false information. Is it because they wanted it sold to a preffered customer or for 1 of the employee? I didnt have a problem purchasing a device somewhere else but what got me frustrated is how i spent my time and effort trying to do business with the people i thought are professional, transparent and honest.
