Be Warned! Cash Crusaders Kempton Park Selling Inferior Products and Reneging on their Warranty Policy!

I bought a "anti-theft" laptop bag at Cash Crusaders Kempton Park for R420, on 08 November 2019. I thought I was buying something of quality. I used the bag for only one weekend, before it started tearing around the handle. When I took the bag back to the store, I was told that "they don't have a refund policy for bags", and that I must sort the issue on my own! This in spite of the fact that my receipt of purchase is literally written "Warranty Slip" and has the note "We warranty all products for a minimum of 6 months from date of purchase..."! I escalated the matter to their complaints department, who then requested I bring the bag in to the store, again. I brought the bag, and they took it in and gave me a "Repair Note", and they told me they would "send the product back to the manufacturer" and contact me as soon as they had it sorted. I waited more than two months before realising they were not going to get back to me. When I went to the store in early February, I was told that the "manufacturer said they couldn't fix the bag" and that I need to take it as it is. When I saw the bag, lo and behold, it was in an even worse condition! The handle was now completely torn off, and the bag was dirty, with stickers and labels on it! I have pictures of the bag before I sent it back, and after. To try argue their case one of the sales guys showed me the receipt from their maintenance facility. The receipt has the note: "NO MACHINE FOR SAWING (sic) THE BAG - CUSTOMER MUST TAKE THE BAG TO A TAILOR". So much for them having sent it to the manufacturer! I refused to take the bag, (a bag which is in an even worse condition than when I returned it) and have now insisted on a refund. The guy refused to give me my money and I left the bag there, seeking to escalate the matter.

Nothing has come out of the "urgent escalation". I have not recieved any form of communication from Cash Crusaders, despite the reassuring message above. So I am going to escalate it further myself.
