Bad treatment from the lady buyer with an attitude I’ve got her recordings
Greetings
It’s Vusi here from Secunda eMbalenhle, a customer who bought a Curve JVC TV from Secunda cash Crusaders. The complain is the TV just went blank and played only the sound,I took it back to the store the Salesman (Tendai kuona) intervened he took the TV to buyshop .they said to him he must book the Tv for repair I must wait for only two days my Tv will be back . After seven days of waiting I called they said I must wait for Monday since it’s Friday and come collect my Tv.
Today (26/07/20121) early around 08:00 I got a voice note from another Salesman saying the lady at the buyshop is now demanding R1200 for repair and the lady tried to contact me which it’s a lie . I went there and the lady by name of Sbongile repeated the very same thing that I must pay such an amount, while no one told me about paying the repair cause they knew that the TV as it was a second time they took it for repairs. Basically it means I’m the second customer, the first one returned it.
It also shows on their system and by the time I took it back to them I noticed a sticker showing that it was indeed from repair then they took it back to the retail floor.
Some of the staff members do say they’ve been having problems with JVC TV’s but they never alerted customers so basically it’s fine for them to make a sale out of an unhappy customers expense. They say “their repairer stays around Secunda he’s the one whose demanding that R1200 before giving back the Tv so now it’s not on cash Crusaders”
I stood in their buyshop for three hours today without any solution, they just left me there saying they’re going to discuss with the manager and find the solution.
Surprisingly they came back and continued serving other customers.
As a customer I feel undermined, because the very same salesman told the lady in my presence at the buyshop they never mentioned anything about money even on the repair sheet there is nothing stating that I should pay anything. On the conversation I had with the lady who assisted on booking the tv to repair she says :”they have been fixing lot of Tv’s they are now tired” I’ve got a proof of that. It’s so sad we as customers we must buy electrical appliances that they knew from the very first place that it won’t last.
Why are they selling products that they know it will be returned to the shop. I have all the necessary papers here and recordings of them saying indeed JVC curve TV’s are being mostly returned.
I’ve asked them to at least give me another TV I’ll add money but they insist on giving me the very same TV. if I take that television in means after every two months I’ll pay that R1200 for repairs.
Why didn’t they explain all that to me. I’ll appreciate your intervention. Even the salesperson never signed the slip by understanding he knew the problem I might encounter
