Appalling service delivery by Manager of Cash crusaders Southway Mall
I would like to lay a complaint over the service i received at cash crusaders Southway mall. I had a bill to settle on Friday the 13 March 2020 at about 15h00. i approached the lady at the till requesting to settle the outstanding loan, i was planning to pay by swiping my card. the teller notified me i had to go and withdraw only at the ATM in order to make payment. I then requested to swipe as the ATM's were not nearby, the teller then notified the manager Mr Amlesh Sarjoo that i did not want to go and withdraw money to make a payment but chose to swipe. the speed point was working but Mr Sarjoo rudely informed me that when they provided me with the money it was cash and therefore the repayment must be made in cash as well. he went on to tell me that the store did not want to pay chargers for using swiping machine just like i didn't want to pay for bank chargers. when i informed him that forced cash repayments were not mentioned on initial loan uptake, he indicated rudely that it is now the case. I informed him of his poor service deliver and when requested the manager with a smirk on his face, he gladly highlighted he was the manager and no redress of such displayed attitude was made. instead he used his powers to belittle me as a customer. i notified i would ensure i made a complaints as i believe as much as he's the store manager but he purchased a franchise and his behaviour really brings down the brand. cold shoulder he did not care. I was further informed that they would retain my payment slip cause as a client i do not have rights to receive the slip as proof of payment. this behaviour seems off to me and feel once again he under estimated my intelligence and instead of apologizing, he thought i would be intimidated by his actions. No race or class deserves such behaviour. as much as we enter the store requesting a service to assist when days are dark but we should still be treated with respect and humanity. something they failed to display. I'm appalled of how i was treated from beginning to end in front of other clients .
