A complaint to cashcrusaders for selling a faulty laptop and avoiding responsibility
Good day I bought a proline laptop for 2k at cashcrusaders Bellville on March but I noticed it was faulty it was slow, freezing and the was a problem with its charging pin from day one so I bought it back as soon as I can which was 3days later the following Monday.when asked for a new one or for them to book it for repairs the guy that sold it to me said that's not how business works there's nothing wrong with it.i came back again the following week with the same problem he than said maybe my fingers where sticky I should wipe them.i came back again he said there must be a fuse somewhere but the problems weren't enough for them to book it for repairs.there were excuses everytime I went there I kept going there for a minimum of 7 days I noticed the warranty was coming to an end so I kept coming more often eventually after a long time they finally book it for repairs on the 1stAugust I kept checking in,asking if there were any updates and when can I fetch the laptop.i kept asking when can I come collect it wasn't fixed yet they kept it for 5-6months and when they said the laptop was ready for collection the laptop wasn't working anymore and are saying the problem was with a mother board and that the laptop had the problem from the start and the guy sold me a faulty laptop and if I asked for a new laptop I should have been given a new laptop.
They are saying I should have collected the laptop a month after booking it and it's now not working because it hasn't been used for such a long time and there's nothing they can do it's out of warranty .i do have proff that I kept going and asking when can I come collect the laptop. When the laptop was booked it was still working and They acknowledged that they sold me a faulty laptop but since it's out of warranty the managers miss David and Mr Lean are saying it's not their problem
